Elite: Dangerous-Horizons did indeed go on sale on Steam this past week and I’ve been lost in the cosmos ever since I picked it up. They’ve improved the game a LOT since I played it last. The recent “Alien Invasion” events seem to be ramping up the story side of things, making the universe feel more real to me somehow than it used to. I ground some credits running data boom missions for a few hours and happily traded in my Sidewinder (appropriately named “Scooty-Puff Jr.”) for a farther ranging Diamondback Scout with a fuel scoop. Now I can finally start reaching out and exploring some of the farther reaching systems on the edge of the bubble. If you understood any of what I just said, there’s a good chance we might bump into each other in the vacuum this weekend!
